Jane treasures!!!

Three days after Jane's Birthday my Christmas presents for myself arrived safely, from Bath, delivered practically to my bed on a lovely Saturday morning. Now I have the most elegant silver charms in town and the most elegant Emma edition! All complete with a booklet.

And... I even have a stylish plastic bag ;-)

Additions to wishlist...

Beautiful things here. I guess I may add at least a Jane and a fan charm to my wishlist, into the category of unpractical, but beautiful things!

It's a small world

I went to Germany three years ago and among places of interest I visited Marksburg, a medieval castle. After the tour which was really very very interesting especially since I had been in such a place for the first time in my life I went to the souvenir shop and was completely captured by medieval-style earrings there. So I ended up with the earrings exactly like in this photo. The jewellery box has the manufacturer's name - "St. Justin". Today I decided to look the manufactrurer up, and? to my surprise, the earrings appeared to have been made in Britain, Cornwall (Daphne Du Maurier's country!) after some celtic patterns. The long intricate patterns mean longevity the site said about my earrings. All this is very nice, Britain and especially the romantic Cornwall but I expected to be buying some German jewellery in a German castle. Lol! You can never know!

The site displays many other beautiful products, so everyone who's interester in silver eye-candies can look the site up from the link hidden in the post title.

Well, garnets...

Actually I am supposed to be preparing for tomorrow's class with group 503EI - well, I am preparing right now - reading up on taxes as we are having a text on tax system and foreign investment now - but I'll also say a couple of words here.

The picture of earrings is garnet earrings from Pirateship Silver shop, China - they have loads of beautiful silverwork there! (Look up pirateship.com.cn!). I actually bought a pair of such last week in Beijing so I'm thinking I'll probably be wearing them tomorrow for the first time. Garnets have something special about them, some richness of colour, and I always love various red tints and hues in autumn and winter!

I should put here loads of early October photos taken here, and then a collection from my business trip to China. Oh, it's hard to be getting used back to home time! Especially now that they turned the clock one hour back to winter time yesterday!
