Über mich

- We all write poems; it is simply that poets are the ones who write in words

A German series that takes place in beautiful Lueneburg. I became somewhat addicted having seen an episode in Austria and then catching up with several episodes in Bulgaria. Now I only can catch up through internet episode descriptions. I wish I had cable TV!

I was soooo missing this... I love this house style, I don't know how to say it in English but that thing it has around the windows and in the roof, I love it. Thanks!!
I also think that further south houses are not so beautiful. And modern houses either (people hardly build from wood these days). Love this style myself. Looked up in the dictionary and did not find a fitting variant how to translate it into Englich. Window-frame sounds to flat for such pretty carved work... I'd say "window-lace", but it's totally my invention! If you try to render the Russian word literally it would be "that what is on the face (of the house/window)".
~Dornroeschen
It is windows-frame in the case of the window (don't know in the roof) but the style that's made with must have a name and I don't know which one it is...
