I used two photos for this drawing but it's more like my free version of Elisabeth based on the photos, not a copy :-)

That dog looks so huge!
Your drawing is very well done comparing to the picture.
True, the dog is huge. She was often photographed with her dogs, but there's only one photo existing of her taken with her children... Empress Elisabeth was an enigma of a woman
I don't know anything about her life, I should read something..
I forgot to tell you I started a free online course of German. It's been difficult so far but I'm trying. I wish so hard to learn a new language...
Congratulations, Paula! German is great. I looove it :-) If you need help I am here :-)
I was thinking about writing a short bio of Elisabeth in my blog. I already did it once in Russian on the anne loves gil forum, I guess I should do it in English too. After my two trips to Vienna I have quite a lot of materials on her and I've already scanned a lot from the books and postcards. Elisabeth was not exactly a sympathetic personality, but she was fascinating. I was especially involved into her story after reading her poetic diary. Very sad and depressive, but beautiful in a melancholy way.
Did I tell you I sent the card on Saturday?
Vielen Dank!
