For the first time I'm reading your old posts and came accross with this beautiful picture of tulips. You don't know how much I love tulips!!! I have never seen so many all together, they are not so common where I live. Last year I bought a red one but it died soon...
I'm glad you like this picture. It's one of my favourites actually - last May was so very beautiful here! True, tulips from flower shops never last long in a vase, they are best on the flower-bed! Sorry some older posts are in German - I was preparing for my German state exam at the time and was practising it even here
A German series that takes place in beautiful Lueneburg. I became somewhat addicted having seen an episode in Austria and then catching up with several episodes in Bulgaria. Now I only can catch up through internet episode descriptions. I wish I had cable TV!

OK, and what's the meaning of dornroeschen, by the way?
It's the name of Sleeping Princess in a tale of Brother's Grimm- Sleeping Beauty in other words. It means "Wild Rose" :))
Literally Dorn means Thorns and roeschen - a loving name for a rose
Oh, thank you :)
