Wieder Herbst... Autumn again

This time autumn comes with a November calendar page I made last Sunday, the quotation is from Persuasion by Jane Austen. One of my favourite autumn quotations? whatever other beautiful quotations autumn might have extracted from various minds...^
Her pleasure in the walk must arise from the exercise and the day, from the view of the last smiles of the year upon the tawny leaves and withered hedges, and from repeating to herself some few of the thousand poetical descriptions extant of autumn, that season of peculiar and inexhaustible influence on the mind of taste and tenderness, that season which has drawn from every poet, worthy of being read, some attempt at description, or some lines of feeling.
And of course, thanks to my friend Tanya for giving me this lovely Bastelkalender which gives youк imagination whole 24 pages (12 white and 12 black) to fill in! The November page was the 1st one I used, after the year is almost gone, but there are only 7 days in the week so calendars have a tendency to repeat themselves every several years...
Tomorrow is the last day of October... so introducing a November calendar page is rather appropriate!

A Collage Made of the Things I Used to Keep in my Commercial Translation Book

I had to return it to the library and these are the things I had to take out.
Indeed, being about to leave the Uni I feel very much like what Anne says about leaving the place where you might have felt very different at different times...
The quotations on the advertisement cards are from Persuasion by Jane Austen,
the quotation on the maple leaf - from The French Lieutenat's Woman by John Fowles (the book I never finished because I had to return it to the library and never borrowed it again having little time and other interests in something else)/ By the way (and it only occurs to me now!!!), Fowles quotes Persuasion at least twice in this book and events described in both books take place in Lyme Regis! (Hence Fowles's mentioning Persuasion in The FLW)
